Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is the name of the group of men and women who have been addicted to alcoholic drinks but want to overcome such addiction. They all hope that they will be able to solve their problems. The encourage each other in order not to lose hope and just pursue their goals of recovering from alcoholism. In order to have something to hold on to, each year that a person never take any alcoholic drinks will be given an AA Chip. The chip is an alloy or of any color that represents how long a person is in the sobriety state. The AA chips have different colors. They serve as an inspiration so that a member will always be focused to the goal of recovering from alcoholism. Every time they feel the urge to drink, they will just have to look at the AA Chips in order to be able to withstand the temptation.
